At Ripple Effects International we are committed to being collaborative and inclusive. We want these projects to grow, adapt, and evolve in conversations with participants and partners from around the world. We envision climate change and environmental learning and action as shared explorations involving schools, libraries, and communities and crossing generations and disciplines.

He believes that learning and action are best grounded in local knowledge, languages, and cultures. He is also engaged in community writing projects and writing center researchMore information can be found on his website.

Steering Committee

At Ripple Effects International we are committed to being collaborative and inclusive. We want a range of diverse perspectives from different backgrounds, locations, and areas of expertise to join us in shaping the policies, goals, and outreach of this initiative. We are in the process of developing an international steering committee to help us continue to spread Ripple Effects across the globe.

Sophia became connected with Ripple Effects International during her time in the Master’s program at the University of Louisville when Bronwyn Williams conducted the first multi-national Ripple Effects project with universities in Finland and South Africa. Before continuing her academic career to pursue a PhD and eventually teach in Rhetoric and Composition, Sophia spent four years in industry as a marketing professional and got to utilize her background in web design and copywriting when Bronwyn mentioned an initiative to update the Ripple Effects website.
